First Community Bank and the Beckley West Virginia Kiwanis Club have established an account so people can donate money to families of the coal miners that were lost or injured in the accident at the Upper Big Branch Mine in Montcoal, West Virginia. Money generated by the fund will be shared equally by the families of the disaster victims and will be given to those workers who survived the explosion.

Anyone can donate either by visiting any First Community Bank Branch location, mailing a check to the address on First Community Bank’s Web site or by contributing online by following the link below:
