The Professional Photographers of West Virginia recently met at the Stonewall Resort in Lewis County to hold their 77th Annual Convention and Print Competition. During the convention Randolph County professional photographer Brent Kepner of Foto 1 Pro Photo LLC in Elkins was elected to the post of President. Kepner was asked for comment and had this to say “I’m very honored and excited to be elected and I would like to thank the PPWV members and Board of Directors for having confidence in my abilities and electing me to lead the group for the next year.”

When asked about goals for the year he responded. “Public awareness of the importance and advantages of hiring a professional photographer is a primary goal for us. When hiring a professional photographer you should be getting someone with training and experience in lighting and posing, that uses professional equipment and is insured and licensed by the state.” Brent will take over the position at the PPWV Board of Directors meeting in mid-April. He is also a Master Photographer and Certified Professional Photographer with the Professional Photographers of America.
