With more than $50 million annually invested in West Virginia by private, family, corporate and community foundations and corporate giving programs, the philanthropic community is a huge investor in Game Changing solutions and programs to transform WV’s present and future development.

“Coming together as the Mountain State’s foundation and corporate giving community is not just about training, but working together on common issues that are creating solutions to some of our local, regional and state’s greatest challenges and issues. Philanthropy WV is a platform for bringing together partners from the private, public, and philanthropic sectors to create change focused on fixing root cause of our state’s challenges from poverty to children’s health to education transformation to economic and community development,” says Paul D. Daugherty, president and CEO of Philanthropy WV. He adds, “The philanthropic community serves as Game Changers in WV by creating new solutions, working across sectors, and taking risks with innovative approaches that create an improved quality of life for our 1.8 million citizens.”
